Every child deserves clean water and a chance to learn.

Water For Life is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving access to safe and reliable water for schools and communities in Kajiado County and its surrounding areas that face similar water scarcity challenges. As a semi-arid region, Kajiado experiences prolonged dry seasons — often lasting six to seven months, from April to mid-October — during which many schools struggle to access water, especially those without adequate rainwater storage facilities.

Founded just over a year ago, Water For Life was born out of a simple but powerful desire to ease this burden and ensure that children have access to the water they need to learn, stay healthy, and thrive. In our first year, we successfully completed water projects in two schools, and we are now working toward delivering a third.

While we know we cannot solve every water challenge, we are committed to making a meaningful difference — one school, one community, and one life at a time.
